YEAR 6 - MATHEMATICS
This week in Year 6, students are consolidating and extending their knowledge on the concept of angles, an essential part of the mathematics curriculum. Learning about angles involves understanding various types such as acute, obtuse, and right angles, as well as how to measure and draw them. To enhance engagement and practical application, integrating robotics into the learning process allows students to apply their knowledge of angles by using robots to draw shapes and navigate courses. The students developed their problem-solving and logical thinking skills as they troubleshooted and fine-tuned their robot’s movements.
FOUNDATION MYSTERY BUS TOUR
On Tuesday the Foundation students toured around Wonderful Warrnambool on a Mystery Bus Trip. With much excitement we drove past many places of interest in our community and even past some of our own houses and mum or dad’s work. A quick stop off at Logan’s Beach where some of the students were lucky enough to spot a whale jumping up out of the water. A great opportunity to see around our beautiful community.
