Soccer - Melbourne City Tryouts - Ricky D
On the weekend Ricky went to Melbourne to tryout for their Melbourne City Soccer Team. He went with his friend, Jaylin and they stayed in an Air bnb. In the morning, they drove 20 minutes to get some doughnuts. After the doughnuts, it started raining really heavy. When they got back to the car, they drove 23 minutes to get to Melbourne City. They started warming up at 10:30 and then had a 1 hour and 15 minutes session. They finished at 11:45 and went to a shopping center where they got some strawberry and bubblegum ice cream. Then it was a 2 hour drive back home. Ricky kicked 7 goals in the first day of training!
Great job Ricky, TPS are super proud of you!

GTS Visit
Today I went to GTS with Kevin, Luca and Pheonix, and Mrs Haw because Mr Hogan was at a Principal's meeting. When we got there, we needed to unpack some supplies by using the three end letters on the barcode. I served someone and then Paige and I called the Tonny Bakery for four hot chocolates for us four and three coffees for Paige, Mrs Haw and Tug. Paige and I then went to the Bendigo Bank to transfer money into the GTS bank account and then we walked over to the bakery, which was right across the road. We picked up the hot chocolates/coffees and on the way back to GTS, Paige and I were talking about C Reserve, C Grade and B Grade making it to the Grand final and A Grade in the Preliminary Final at Barooga against Moama. Then we got back and had our hot chocolates as well as putting barcodes on the clips. While I was running errands, the other boys were stacking shelves with the supplies.. Finally, we got six sprinklers to take back to Brett. GTS is the best and we love going there! Thank you Mrs Haw for taking us.
