Junior School's newest members are Stick Insects! They have been having lots of fun learning about them. It is fun to try and find them because they are good at hiding! They look similar to their habitat so they blend in easily.
Middle School had a fantastic time on Camp at Ferngully Lodge! It was so great to see the students get out of their comfort zone and give everything a go!
Here are some highlights from the students:
"My favourite was the giant swing, it was very high but I went all the way to the top!" - Layla
"I liked the leap of faith because it looked really high but it wasn't too high when I jumped!" - Ethan
"The giant swing was my favourite! It was so fun and we got two turns each!" - Maddi
"I liked the bush shelters because we got to make our shelters out of big sticks!" - Ethan
" My favourite was the giant swing because it was fun. I also enjoyed the Zipline because I got to race my classmates and my team won the team race!" - Wayde
"I loved the giant swing because you could face your fear and could see the pretty view fro, high up" - Kaylah
"My favourite part was the leap of faith, I made it all the way to the platform even though I don't really like heights." - Hez
The Connections at Kilsyth group has been doing some amazing work around the school. They have been out and about gardening, mulching and creating connections to the community through visits to the local kinder and spending time down at Elizabeth Bridge.
It has been so great to see the students thriving and learning all about gardening while creating connections with each other and the local community.
