BOGGABRI ROTARY CLUB SMALL SCHOOLS' PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION

On Thursday, 19th September, Sacred Heart School will host the 27th Annual Small Schools Public Speaking Competition, sponsored by the Boggabri Rotary Club. Sacred Heart students will be joined by Boggabri Public School, Mullaley, Premer, Curlewis and Fairfax students. The day will commence at approximately 9:15am. Students are to come to school as normal, in FULL SUMMER UNIFORM, so that rolls can be marked before the event. All Sacred Heart students from K-6 will be participating in the Prepared Speech section, and it was an option for students from Years 3-6 to participate in the Impromptu Speech section.

The Rotary Club will provide lunch for students, teachers, and visitors, and we will be providing the coffee van, where coffee, hot chocolate, tea, water, and homemade goodies will be available for morning tea and throughout the day. Zooper Doopers will also be sold at lunchtime for $1 each.

The Year 6 students will also have tickets available for their raffle - $2 a ticket or 3 for $5.

To make this successful, we ask families to supply the homemade goodies to be sold. Please ensure that all ingredients are listed. The profit from the coffee van will go to the PTF to fund future student resources.
