PFA NEWS
Hi everyone!
Welcome back to Term 4. It’s hard to believe we are already in the last term of the year, and as per usual, the PFA have been working around the clock to end the year with a bang!
First up, a reminder that the annual AGM will be held next month. All positions are open in the PFA and will be delegated for 2025 in this meeting. More information regarding date and time will follow in the coming weeks.
Secondly, the disco! What an amazing night had by all. The children danced up a storm, and the adults didn’t hesitate to join in. Thanks to everyone that helped with organising, setting up, taking part, and packing up! It is definitely a team effort and not something we could do without our amazing parent squad!
Also, a big shout out to Kate Johnston for joining in the entire evening and doing an awesome job at the Nutbush!
Now, to the big one, the Holy Cross Twilight Fair. It is unbelievable that the fair is only one week away! The amount of time and dedication that the PFA have put towards this evening is astronomical.
There will be early bird wrist bands available for Holy Cross families. These will be priced as follows:
Unlimited rides (excluding Cha Cha): $15 per person
Unlimited Rides (including Cha Cha): $30 per person
These will be available to purchase on My School Connect and can be picked up from the MPR on Thursday or from the office next Friday morning. Sue and Sue will have a spread sheet available to tick off as collected.
A reminder that the Lego competition entries will close at 3:30 on the 14th of October. Please hand to Sue in the office with the $5 entrance fee. There are some amazing prizes to be won so be sure not to miss out!
We are still in need of parent helpers! There was an email and Seesaw sent earlier this week to register, so please jump on and pick a time! The more hands-on deck, the better!
Raffle tickets will be available to purchase with some incredible prizes to be won, first prize exceeding $400+!
Another big thank you to our sponsors and people who have donated. The community support has been incredible, and we are very grateful of everything we have received.
The door is always open for new parents to join the PFA. Not only is it a rewarding experience, but a great way to feel part of the Holy Cross Community. Please don’t hesitate to contact any of the approachable members for information on how to join!
Warm Regards
PFA
