Grade 4 | Myrtle 

This term Grade 4 completed a history unit about Sea Exploration and discovering new lands. We researched different sea explorers including Captain James Cook and learnt about his ship ‘The Endeavour’. Have a look at our excellent guided drawings of Captain James Cook.

In science this term we looked at materials. We were asked to create a toy using recycled materials.  We have to plan the toy in detail before creating the toy.  The toy had to be made from at least two suitable materials, have an elastic property, be fun and also safe to play with.  Some of us made balloon yoyos, slingshots, basketball hoops, soccer goals and a guitar.
