Year 11/12 Holiday and Swotvac Study Planners

As we come to the end of Term 3, it is time for students to think about how they will engage in a proactive revision program in the lead up to the external examinations. Students can consider how to act on the advice provided by their teachers throughout the year, especially following the August examinations. What strategies can they put in place to address any gaps in their knowledge to best prepare for the end of the year?

The Term 3 Holiday and Swotvac Planner includes handy tips and tricks for making the most of their study time.

It is recommended students make a copy of the document or alternatively pick up a hardcopy available from the window outside the Senior School Office.

Lockdown Drill

Thank you to students, staff and families for participating and supporting yesterday's practice lockdown drill.  The drill was completed successfully on the Commercial Road Campus. Well done and a special thank you to those who had their learning and teaching activities disrupted. Lockdown and evacuation drills provide us with the opportunity to test our safety communication infrastructure (bells and sounders) and to practice the associated processes. If you have any feedback, please email Mark Natoli.

Mobile Phone Muster

Do you have an old phone left-over from an upgrade? Do you have a drawer full of old phones and chargers and not know what to do with them?

Tutor group U5 in the Senior School is organising a mobile phone muster to recycle old phones and reuse the precious materials in them. There will be collection boxes in the office on every campus for students and parents to drop them in to. The boxes will be there for the last two weeks of term - Monday 16 September through to Friday 27 September. Please help us to look after the environment by recycling these old devices rather than just digging up new resources.
