District Athletics - RNPS Winners Again!
Three years running, Ringwood North has once again come home from the District Athletics event with the Ringwood District School Sports Association Aggregate trophy. We are very proud of the students' efforts and the time they have put into their P.E lessons and lunch time to work on their Athletics Skills. Many students are part of local Athletics clubs and bring this skill and tips to our lessons to share with other students and the teachers, this helps us to continue to progress in our skill development.
The District event is alway a pleasure to be part of and watch our students demonstrate their competitiveness in a positive manner. Congratulations to all students for part of the day and hoping for more success for the students who have made it through to the next stage.
Patch - Victorian Schools Mountain Bike Championship
Patch won the Victorian school mountain bike championships racing for North Ringwood Primary in the under 13 boys racing category. This weekend was rounds 4 and 5. Patch entered the weekend sitting in 5th position and managed to come 2nd in Castlemaine and 1st in Bendigo which combined with the other rounds saw him gain enough points to win the series. On behalf of RNPS, Congratulations Patch, this is a huge effort and it would have taken a lot of dedication and practice to achieve this.
