Year 3/4 Learning Reflection

The Grade 3/4's are back in the groove with their learning! It was fantastic to hear about everyone’s school holiday. 

Students in 3A during writing wrote from a seed about the beach. Students wrote a variety of genres including narratives, procedural texts, facts and poems. 

This week in Maths, students have been learning about symmetry. We had a great time outside, searching for symmetrical objects and counting their lines of symmetry!

4A were excited to receive their latest letter from their Big Buddies! Students used Canva to respond and decorate their letters. 

This week in our Unit of Work sessions, students have been learning interesting facts about Victoria. If you have a moment, ask your child to share something new they learnt! 

4B wrote summaries of the books they've been reading. 

Everyday, students engage in Daily Review to reinforce their understanding of previously learned concepts.

4A had a fantastic time visiting their Big Buddies at Brimbank Council on Wednesday! The students enjoyed a variety of fun activities, including a library tour, a Kahoot quiz, and a paper airplane competition. Elsie and her buddy won the Kahoot, while Tracey, Ali, and Ha-Anh took first, second, and third place in the paper airplane race.
