Bienvenidos to Term 4!

We’re excited to kick off this term with a vibrant celebration on 1st November —our Spanish Fiesta Day featuring a special Día de los Muertos theme! Join us as we celebrate this beautiful and colourful Mexican tradition.

We are also having delicious Quesadillas! You can order these tasty treats through Compass. Don't miss out!

Let’s make this term unforgettable with fun, food, and fantastic celebrations!

Performing Arts

Our Grade 5/6 students have been hard at work preparing for their upcoming music production of "The Giant Jam Sandwich". It has been wonderful to see them step out of their comfort zones, demonstrating commitment and courage as they bring this story to life. We can’t wait for you to see their creativity and teamwork on display!

Our younger classes have been thrilled to welcome back the music program this Term. Students are actively researching and selecting their performances for the end-of-year concert, showing great enthusiasm and creativity in their choices.

Physical Education

Hey Sunny Heights,

The students last week were able to catch up with each other with some fun play! Now the good stuff starts with all students learning volleyball this first half of the term.

Few term reminders!

Swimming for the 3-6 students will be held from the 11th to the 15th of November

Sports Day for the Prep - 3 students will be held on Friday the 22nd of November

STEM

What a spectacular start to Term 4! Our Grade 5 and 6 students have been learning about user interface design and so we had a marketing challenge for our first week back! Students created advertisements for products using a range of software. I was blown away by the quality of their work in such a short amount of time - well done!

Students in Grade 3-4 created their own movie trailer and demonstrated fantastic collaboration and creativity.

Our Sphero's were also in action this week with students producing their own artworks or creating algorithms to complete mazes!

Visual Arts

Welcome Back!

Welcome back, everyone! I hope you all had a great break and are ready for an exciting Term 4 in the art studio. The countdown to our Art Show on Thursday, December 5th has begun, and the students have jumped straight back into making and creating their masterpieces for the big event!

It’s been wonderful to see them so engaged in their projects. This term, the students aren’t just making art—they’re also reflecting on their work and the work of other artists. They’ve been asking important questions like What do I like about my art? How can I improve it? and have even been offering thoughtful feedback to their classmates. It’s great to see them thinking deeply about their creative decisions and growing as artists.

We’re all looking forward to sharing their hard work and creativity with you at the Art Show. Stay tuned for more details as the date gets closer!
