Year 11
Congratulations to all of our year 11 VCE, VCE-VM and VPC students who have successfully earned their Unit 1 credits! This has been a steep learning curve for many of you, and your dedication and perseverance have truly paid off. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and effort you have put in to reach this milestone.
Throughout the semester, we've witnessed significant improvements not only in your academic performance but also in your attendance. Your commitment to your studies and your willingness to engage and participate have been commendable. It's clear that you have all taken the challenges of this term in stride and have grown as students and individuals.
As we approach the term break, we hope you take this time to relax and recharge. You have earned a well-deserved rest after all the hard work you've put in. When you return for Semester 2, we are confident that you will continue to strive for excellence and build on the foundation you have established.
To celebrate VCE VM & VPC student's achievements, we will be holding a celebration assembly on Tuesday, 16th July. It will be a fantastic opportunity to come together as a cohort and recognise your achievements. We look forward to celebrating with you and acknowledging the progress you have made.
Once again, great job, everyone! Keep up the excellent work, and enjoy your term break. We can't wait to see you all back, refreshed and ready for the next chapter.
Year 12
Congratulations on another successful term to our Year 12 students. To celebrate their achievements, students participated in a Wellbeing Day where the Year 12 cohort spent a day in the city. Unfortunately, it was a rather wet day but that did not stop the competitive nature of our students partaking in the Urban Quest. Students formed teams and raced around the CBD solving riddles and clues to get themselves to the finish line. Congratulations to the winners Jade, Jorja, Layla, Summer, Alexandra and Maria.
Another highlight for the end of this term also included Athletics Day with students dressed up for the final time. We saw Dora the Explorer, a flock of sheep, a few dinosaurs, a couple of sharks and a bunch of jailbirds to name a few. The final race of costumes was the highlight of the day!
Lastly, Year 12 Movie Night which was held in the Green Building on campus Thursday 27th June. It was great to see the Year 12 cohort dressed in their PJ’s with lots of matching outfits, fluffy slippers, pillows, cushions and teddy bears joining the fun. The night began with the movie ‘Rush Hour’ then moving into a ‘dance-off’, game of Mafia and a variety of boardgames. But, the highlight of the night was a game of ‘hide n seek’, trying to find the best hiding spot with over 150 participants attempting to stay hidden before a teacher could locate them.
All these events have allowed our Year 12’s to take a little break from the study and pressure of their final year and enjoy time with their friends and Year 12 teachers. We hope they return from the holidays ready to smash out the final term of Year 12.

Attendance
Our goal this year is to reduce the number of unapproved student absences. Unapproved absences are for days when absence is avoidable, including taking days off for birthdays, long weekends or to visit friends or relatives. We also do not recommend taking long holidays throughout the term, especially in your son or daughter’s final year of schooling. If you do have a planned holiday, please contact the relevant Year Level Leaders as soon as possible so arrangements can be made.
When calling the absence line to advise the school of student absences, please stipulate a reason for your child’s absence.
Well done to the following students who have achieved 100% from Unit 3
Sukhjan, Rishi, Ashwini, Jed, Harry, Alex, Kiehl, Ishwar, Disha, Om, Pearl, Mehak, Harjot, Janakan
Uniform
A letter of support has been distributed to any student that came to school in the last week of term 2 out of uniform. If you did not receive this letter please contact a member from the Senior School team. Just a reminder, full school winter uniform is to be worn throughout Term 3. Please ensure your child has the correct school shoes (black polishable shoes) as well as the correct pants, shirt, and tie. Students should not be wearing acrylic nails, and a necklace and bracelet can be work for religious reasons. Your support and understanding on this matter are much appreciated.
Student Achievement
At the end of each term, we celebrate student achievement. The following students were awarded Teacher RGAR awards.
