Year One/Two News 

Over the last few weeks, students in the Millie Building have been working on a variety of different writing genres, including narratives and information reports.  The students have worked very hard in order to get their finished pieces published and up on display. 

This term, students were given the opportunity to make their own decisions about some of the elements of their writing. Some classes had the opportunity to write and publish any piece of writing that they had completed throughout the first four weeks of the term, while other classes were able to choose their topic for a pre-selected genre. 

While all classes have completed something different this term for our writing display, there is one thing that they all share in common….all the students have worked hard, they have used their own ideas and knowledge and we, as teachers, couldn’t be prouder!
