Kinder News

Purple Group

Thank you to the families and staff who joined us for our Miners Rest Kindergarten working bee on Sunday. The children now have a wonderful new Yarning Circle in our backyard, providing a special place for gathering and learning. This week, we had the opportunity to explore and enjoy this new area. On Monday the children eagerly gathered in the Yarning Circle, sharing stories and engaging in collaboration, while also learning about the cultural significance of such spaces. The children then enthusiastically planted a variety of Australian native plants, which not only beautified the space but also taught them about the importance of respecting and caring for our environment. Their involvement in this project has fostered a sense of pride and responsibility for maintaining our new outdoor area.
