VICTORIAN COLLEGE CHAMPIONSHIPS - STATE FINALS

During Week 10, we had 3 of our girls basketball teams participate in the Victorian College Championships, State Finals. After arriving at school at 6.45am each day, our teams travelled to the State Basketball Centre to go up against the best schools in the state.

In a hotly contested field, our U15 Girls won 2 of their pool games, including a win against the eventual state champions Edinburgh College, however, failed to qualify for the grand final, finishing the day in 3rd place. Our U17 Girls played out of their skin all day, playing off in the Grand Final against Berwick College, taking away the Silver medal, and finally our undermanned U20 girls, were unable to get a win on the day, however, finished the tournament in 6th place. Congratulations to all of the girls on their achievements, as this was the first year we managed to have teams qualify for the state finals in all three age groups.

Congratulations to our tournament MVP's: U15 Victoria Leuluai, U17 Leyton Nonoa and U20 Louise Portelli.

NMR - Mickleham Division Junior Netball

Our Year 7 and 8 students had an exciting day at Boardman Stadium in Sunbury, where they competed in the Mickleham Division Junior Netball competition. Both boys and girls have been training hard, and their dedication was evident on the court. For many, this was their first time competing, and they put in a fantastic effort. We are proud of their commitment and sportsmanship, and we look forward to seeing their skills develop even further in
