SHEPPARTON CAREERS DAY OUT

On Wednesday 8 May, 57 Year 9 students travelled by coach to attend the 2024 Shepparton Careers Day Out at the Wodonga Tafe Campus in Wanganui Road, Shepparton. 

There were huge range of exhibitors for students to seek information from and watch demonstrations along with some fantastic interactive activities to participate in.  

All students were very engaged and the way they represented the College was terrific.  I hope they enjoyed the day and got a lot of information to assist them with their future goals.

ACK CAREERS EXPO

On Friday 24 May, 40 Year 10 students attended the Assumption College Careers Expo.

There were many exhibitors in attendance, including Universities, Tafe Providers, Emergency Services, local employers and Industry.  Students had the opportunity to browse the stalls to collect information and chat with the exhibitors. There were also some interactive activities to have a go at, with prizes and freebies to collect. We’d like to thank Assumption College for inviting us to this valuable event each year and we look forward to attending again next year.

YEAR 10 WORK EXPERIENCE

24-28 JUNE 2024  Work Experience forms are due Friday 31st May.  If your Year 10 child hasn’t yet secured a placement, please contact me so we can work together to lock something in.

If you or somebody you know has the capacity to take a Work Experience student in the workplace for 5 consecutive days (24-28 June), please let me know. We’d be very grateful for the opportunity for our students to experience the world of work.
