ARTISTS OF THE WEEK  A Celebration of Arts at St Mary’s

In the Art Making & Exhibiting course so far I have enjoyed being able to choose what I want to improve on and what I want to do for my art. My favourite medium to work with would be oil paints. I have never used oil paints before this course, so I have learnt how to use them from scratch and even after only two paintings in oil, I feel like I have the hang of it and would love to use them again.

In the VCE art course so far I have learnt how to do lino printing. I have used progresso woodless coloured pencils, soft pastels, ink, and pastel-paints none of which I have used before.

In Visual Art this semester I enjoyed many things but I mostly liked working with the watercolours, I found them easier to use and work with. I also enjoyed using the oil pastels.

The task I found the hardest was definitely the oil painting homage, but in the end I was happy with my work and would gladly do it again.
