The Grade 5/6 students have been working for a number of weeks on creating a reverse acetate self-portrait. They had to take a picture of themselves and trace it onto a piece of acetate with permanent marker. Following this, students had to “colour in” their portrait with paint, creating layers of pattern and colour. Once the layers are complete, they turn their self-portrait around to reveal their finished product. 5/6KW are nearly finished their creations and they will be on display soon!
