News from the 1/2 Community...

This week is National Reconciliation Week. In the 1/2 Community we have acknowledged the importance of Reconciliation and the role we play within it by learning about Indigenous stories, culture and traditions. 

We read the book Circles of Life by Gregg Dreise and have created prayers of gratitude to display at our Indigenous Reconciliation Mass next Friday (7th June). We would love to see you all there. 

Also a big thank you to Ned B and his mum Jess for sharing their scaly friends with us last week. Ned showed us his pets ‘Shine’ the Blue-Tongue Lizard and ‘Monty’ the Children’s Python, and shared all his knowledge about reptiles. Well done Ned!
