YEAR 9

WEEK 6: KEY INFORMATION

LAST WEEK

Students attended Collective Shout, an engaging and informative presentation, designed for young men and women to address current challenges they face and support them in their future decision-making. We understand this was confronting information provided to the students exploring how exposure to sexual imagery contributes to a distorted view of bodies, relationships and sexuality. We hope it was an opportunity for students to clarify their values, understand how to enforce boundaries, resist harmful forces and for relationships built on mutual respect and empathy. Should these sessions have raised any concerns with your young person please reach out to us.

THIS WEEK

All Year 9 students will be sitting their Science exam during their double lesson. We encourage students to ensure they are putting in healthy study practices in preparation for this exam.

Thank you to all Year 9 students who have volunteered their time to help out at the College’s annual Open Evening. It is a great opportunity to show servant leadership and be proud of the College community.
