Deputy Head of College News

Mr Phill Holding - Deputy Head of College (Acting)

College Communications and Staying up to Date

To help families stay well informed, the College shares important information and updates through the College Parent Orbit App. This ensures all parents receive timely, accurate and consistent communication directly from the College in one central place.

We are also aware that some families choose to connect through informal WhatsApp groups. While these can be helpful for parents, please note that they are not official College communication channels. For the most up-to-date and reliable information, we encourage parents to refer to messages shared via the Parent Orbit App.

Noone - Uniform Shop Price Update

We wish to advise families that there will be a slight increase in prices at the College Uniform Shop, effective from 1 March. This increase applies to a limited number of items only, with a 10% increase on a small selection of products. This adjustment reflects rising supplier and production costs and helps ensure we can continue to provide quality uniforms for our students.

We appreciate that any price increase can impact families, and we have worked to keep changes to a minimum wherever possible. Current prices will remain in place until 28 February.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Uniform Shop for further information.

Safe & Considerate Parking

To help maintain a safe and orderly environment for everyone in our community, we ask all families to be mindful and considerate when parking on and around College grounds. In particular, extra care is required in the pool car park where there are minimal line markings. Please ensure adequate space is left between vehicles so drivers and passengers can safely enter and exit their cars.

We would also like to remind families of the designated parking arrangements in this area. Access across the Glenlyon Bridge is strictly limited to staff and patrons of the College swimming club. Likewise, the nearby drop-off bay is reserved exclusively for swimming club use. Parking within the swimming pool car park (from the eastern end of the pool to the bridge) is available to staff and swimming pool patrons only, while parking alongside and behind the pool is designated for staff use.

These measures are in place to reduce on-site traffic congestion and, most importantly, to support the safety of our students, staff, and wider community. We thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and ongoing support in following these parking arrangements.

Student Residential Address and Other Information Collection

“The Student Residential Address and Other Information Collection is a Commonwealth Government data collection. The 2026 collection will open on Wednesday 11 February 2025 and will close on the 11 March 2026.”

The data collected will be used in conjunction with Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) data to calculate a non-government school community’s anticipated capacity to contribute to schooling costs, known as the capacity to contribute (CTC) score.”

Further information from the Australian Government’s Department of Education is available in the attached document. (link in the document)

We would ask all parents to review and ensure their address and background data is up to date.
