Beaumont Hills Campus Update

Assalaamu Alaykum WRWB,
As Term 1 progressed at our Beaumont Hills Campus, it was wonderful to see our community come together through a range of meaningful events that strengthened both learning and Islamic faith across the school. Alhamdulillah, the year began with a strong sense of clarity, connection, and shared purpose, grounded in our Islamic values and setting a positive tone.
A Confident Start for Our Youngest Learners
Our Kindergarten Orientation marked a gentle and reassuring beginning for our newest students and their families. Parents were introduced to classroom routines, learning frameworks and wellbeing processes, while students explored their new environment and began building friendships. The smooth transition witnessed in these early weeks reflected the strength of the partnership between home and school. We sincerely appreciated the trust and collaboration shown by our families during this important milestone.
Strengthening Home - School Partnership
Years 1–6 Parent Information Session
The session provided families with valuable insight into curriculum expectations, assessment schedules, MFIS behaviour framework, and practical strategies to support learning at home. Beginning the year with clear and open communication helped strengthen the partnership between school and home, ensuring students experienced consistent expectations and support in both environments.
Secondary School - “Meet the Murabbi” Session
The event gave families a valuable opportunity to meet teachers, learn more about subject pathways, and better understand academic and wellbeing expectations for the year ahead. Parents were able to ask questions and gain clarity about how learning and progress will be supported.
These conversations reinforced that education at MFIS is holistic — we are committed not only to strong academic outcomes, but also to nurturing each child’s Islamic identity, character, and personal growth.
MFIS Alumi – 2025 Year 12 Morning Tea
Earlier this term, our 2025 Year 12 cohort came together for a special morning tea to mark the beginning of their final year. It was a meaningful time of reflection, encouragement, and celebration as students acknowledged how far they have come and looked ahead to the important milestones before them. The gathering provided an opportunity to share words of support and recognise this significant stage in their learning journey.
Supporting Academic Growth
Year 7 Orientation Day
We were pleased to see how smoothly our students settled into high school. The Year 7 orientation program clearly explained expectations, daily routines, and the wellbeing supports available, helping students feel reassured and prepared. They enjoyed touring the campus, setting up their lockers, and learning how to move confidently between classes. Students also took part in team building activities that helped them build confidence, strengthen friendships, and develop a sense of belonging in their new environment.
Year 12 Parent - Teacher Interviews
Senior students and families also participated in Year 12 Parent -Teacher Interviews, where HSC progress and ATAR projections were discussed. These meetings provided clarity and direction, empowering students to set focused and realistic goals for the year ahead.
Ramadan: Faith in Action
As we enter the blessed month of Ramadan, our campus embraced a beautiful spirit of reflection and renewal. Students prepared for our Ramadan Assembly through Quran recitations and presentations, developing both confidence and deeper understanding of the significance of the month.
Each Friday during Ramadan, students engage in Abaya and Sadaqah Fridays. They wear their abaya and contribute donations toward the Principal - Feed the Fasting Campaign. Each school day begins with morning dua, grounding students in gratitude and intention. These moments reminded our children that seeking knowledge is an act of worship and that excellence began with sincere niyyah.
Alhamdulillah, the term was filled with purposeful events that strengthened our shared direction. Through unity, clear communication and sincere intention, we continued nurturing confident, capable and faith centred young people.
May Allah (SWT) place barakah in our efforts and continue to strengthen the partnership between our school and families.
Ms Sara Shehata, Head of Campus
