It was wonderful to see such enthusiastic participation in the Cross Country last week. The students were a sea of house colours! The Year 5 and 6 students were incredible supporters for the younger students. Well done to those students who are now going on to represent the school at Divisional Cross Country.
Just a reminder that we are now wearing full winter uniform. If you need any assistance with purchasing items of uniform, please get in touch with us.
There are a number of Pupil Free Days occurring this term, they are as follows
Week 6 - Tuesday 26th of May
Week 7 - Friday 5th June
Week 8 - Monday 8th June (King’s Birthday Public Holiday)
On Thursday the 28th of May students will be involved in Reconciliation Week activities. We encourage students to wear their Sport uniform on this day.
On Thursday the 4th of June students are invited to wear their craziest pair of socks as part of our Winter Woolies Fundraiser with St Vincent de Paul. Students can either donate a gold coin or purchase a pair of socks to bring in as a donation. Thanks for your support!
This week we resume homework for the term. Students will have a Spelling and Maths homework sheet to complete. As with Term One, it is handed out on Monday and the expectation is that they will complete and hand it in by Friday the same week. If your child has any reasons for not being able to complete their homework (we understand that life is busy) please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Reading is a nightly expectation as we continue to develop their love of reading for pleasure. Please remind them to read each evening, whether with yourselves or as a nice way to slow down at the end of the day before going to sleep.
