Student Wellbeing/Engagement

Student Representative Council (SRC)
Our new junior SRC members have been settling into their role and getting familiar with the routines of the SRC. Working alongside our middle and senior representatives has given them the opportunity to learn, contribute and share fresh ideas. I’m so proud of the great ideas our SRC members are putting forward to improve our school, and I’m looking forward to supporting them in bringing some of these ideas to life next term.
Year 3 - Student Wellbeing
In Year 3 for Wellbeing, students have been exploring what gratitude means, how to express gratitude, and the importance of appreciating the positive people in their lives. We asked some of our students how they would define gratitude and why it is important to show gratitude to people in our lives.
We have written gratitude letters for our families, it's important to show people gratitude so they know that we love them.
Izabela
I wrote a letter to my mum to thank her for supporting me when I was having a hard time, I hoped it would make her feel good to know she helped me.
Mati
I learnt that to be grateful is to be happy about what you have because some people don't have as much as we do, your family does things for you because they love you not just because they have to.
