Update from Languages Department

Bonjour and Konnichi Wa!

The Languages Department are very excited and pleased to welcome two new members to our team – French teacher Bournik Kabengele, and Japanese Language Assistant Momoko Tatsumoto. 

Hello. My name is Momoko Tatsumoto from Japan. I live in Aichi prefecture which is famous for TOYOTA. I’m a university student and my major is Global Liberal Studies. I will be joining the Japanese classes as an assistant language teacher for one year. My hobby is watching movies like Ghibli. I want students to experience Japanese culture and learn the Japanese language while having fun. I’m looking forward to talking with students both in English and Japanese. It’s very nice to meet you.

Introducing Our New French Teacher!

Dear Parents and School Community,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the newest addition to the Mordialloc College family, joining as the French teacher. My name is Bournik Kabengele or simply Mr Kab, and I am incredibly excited to embark on this journey with all of you.

I come to Mordialloc College with a passion for the French language and culture, and I am committed to creating an engaging and immersive learning environment for our students. With 22 years of experience in teaching French, I bring a wealth of knowledge and innovative teaching strategies to the classroom.

My goal is to help students develop proficiency in the French language and foster an appreciation for the rich cultural heritage it represents. Through interactive lessons, cultural activities, and real-world applications, I aim to make learning French an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all students.

I believe that strong communication and collaboration between teachers, parents, and the school community are essential for student success. I look forward to working closely with you to support our students’ academic and personal growth.
