Lids 4 Kids

Big Thank You to family and friends and everyone at Eltham High that supported Mia Griggs (Year 12, Pakana House) and Phoebe Tooley (Year 12, Everard House) in the 2023 Lids 4 Kids Recycling Project.

Mia and Phoebe set the goal to collect and have recycled plastic bottle lids for their Work-Related Skills project. Promoting the project at school and with family and friends Mia and Phoebe collected over 8,710 plastic bottle lids!  In November 2023, the lids were taken to the Lids 4 Kids drop off point in Mitcham, with their final destination - becoming recycled colourful garden benches, clip boards, key rings, pens, combs and the list goes on.

No land fill for these plastic lids.

Congratulations Mia and Phoebe on all your hard work!

They look forward to sharing with you their exciting new project for 2024. It’s going to be a big one!

Additionally, if you have any textbooks that you no longer need, please consider contributing them to our school.  Your generosity can make a significant difference in supporting the academic success of fellow students.
