2023 Wrap-Up

The Combined Catholic Schools P & F have had a fantastic year of fundraising. 

We kicked off the year with a successful Debutante Ball with over 24 girls making their debut along with their partners. This is our biggest fundraiser for the year, and we are so grateful to St Josephs Parish that they allow us the opportunity to run the event and a big thank you to all the volunteers who helped out on the night. We can’t run these events without your help.

This year we also hosted a charity golf day. The weather was beautiful and the BBQ delicious! Over 60 golfers took to the course and had a great day. The day was a huge success made possible by the generosity of the Gunnedah Golf Club and our fantastic sponsors.

We were also fortunate enough to host the Seafood Raffles at Club Gunnedah during the months of August and September. The St Xaviers staff who volunteered their services one of the weeks hold the record for the most tickets sold in an evening.

Our other fundraisers during the year include the Mother’s & Father’s Day stalls, where we thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the St Xavier’s children and helping them find the perfect gift for their loved ones.

After all the efforts of the committee this year, we were excited to be able to make a donation of $11,000 to both St Xavier’s Primary School and St Mary’s College.

We wish everyone in the school community a happy, fun and safe festive season and hope to meet more of you in the new year with our fundraising efforts!
