Grade 1/2 News 

Can you believe that we are half way through Term One? Students have really settled into our learning routines, reading regularly at home and displaying our school values in their interactions with others. 

In English we have been revising the digraphs ch, ck, qu, ng, wh and sh. We have begun to learn the first spellings of the sound /ae/. Students had fun writing about Fantastic Mr. Fox. In Maths we have been bundling large numbers into groups of 10, practising counting forwards and backwards to 120 and learning the importance of Place Value.
