School Photos

It's almost school photo time! Students will be bringing home their photo order forms over the coming days so please check schoolbags.

On Monday 19th February Years 7 to 12 group and individual photos will be taken on North Campus. Family photos where all students are on North (in Secondary) will also be taken on this day.

On Tuesday 20th February Prep to Year 6 will have their group and individual photos taken on South Campus. All remaining Prep-Year 12 family photos will be taken on South Campus.

Any parent who would like their children from the Early Learning Centre included in the family photo with older siblings are to inform Fiona Whiteside and Hilary Mahoney prior to school photo week to make arrangements.

Please note family photos must be prepaid prior to school photo week.

The photographers will take any individual portraits and family photos for students who are not present on their school photo day on Monday 26th February. Unfortunately it is not possible to retake the class group photo.

New Parents Dinner

This year, our New Parents Dinner is taking place on Thursday 29th February, 2024 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. We would be grateful if you would join us for canapes in the Primary Gymnasium (G-Block) on South Campus.

A few key members of our community will briefly share about different aspects of life at

Bayside, including College Principal, Mr Andrew Manning. We find this helps families to develop a good understanding of how we partner with you as parents/carers in the education of your children, as well as putting faces to names of other members of staff.

Please RSVP your attendance via https://www.trybooking.com/CPAQL by Monday 26th February

Parent Conferences

Our Primary Parent/Teacher conferences and Secondary Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences will take place on Tuesday 5th March and Wednesday 6th March. This is a wonderful opportunity to catch up and share our partnership to discuss the progress and plans for best supporting your children's education, both from school and from home. Information will be sent out in the next few weeks, regarding how to use our online booking system, PTO, to make a time to meet with your children's teachers.

Tuesday 5th March will be a regular school day with on-campus (in person) appointments after school from 3:40 pm to 7 pm. Buses will run as normal on this day. Wednesday 6th March appointments will be online through Zoom from 9am to 7pm. This will be a student-free day. Camp Australia will provide care for those already registered with the program.

Prayer Group

The Bayside Prayer Group meet every Monday morning from 9am in the Community Room (M2) to pray for the College. Parents, carers and staff are welcome to join at any time. The group also frequently meet at 7.30pm on Monday evenings to walk around the College grounds. For more information please contact Bek Shelling on 0403 804 972.

Community Playgroup

The Bayside Community Playgroup runs every Thursday from 9am to 10:30am for children aged 0-5 years for indoor play, craft, painting, creative play, story time and sing-a-long while parents and carers supervise playtime and enjoy a cuppa and light morning tea. Cost is $2 per child to attend each week. Please pack a nut-free snack and water bottle for your child. No booking required.

Baysiders Netball Club News

Netball is back for 2024! Welcome to all our new players and welcome back to all our existing players, what a great bunch of kids. All players were very excited to receive their new training tops last week. These tops can be worn at training and over their game day uniforms as well. It is such a pleasure seeing our players arrive for the games in full Baysiders gear. Thanks goes to Amanda Lewis, our Secretary for her work in making this happen. The players absolutely love them and they look great!
