THE MPS 2024 CARNIVAL | COMING TO YOU THIS AUGUST!
It’s time to get your diary out for our biggest event that is coming to Murrumbeena in August 2024! You are not going to want to miss this so block out Saturday August 17, 2024.
The school Carnival is a great way to engage with our local community whilst fundraising for our school. This year, funds raised will go to improving the outdoor area for our senior students which includes:
- Create, design and install a play area using the natural environment and materials and
- Install seating and shade over the seating area.
This area will be enjoyed by our current and future students for many years to come.
To host a Carnival, it takes a village to put on a big show from entertainment to food & beverage, arts & craft, rides and stalls galore! We are going to require everyone to lean in and help out.
We have a Working Carnival Party who are dedicated in bringing this Carnival to life.
How can you help? We will be in contact through Class Reps with details on help required and we will also include notices in the Newsletter and via Compass on ways you can contribute.
We are looking forward to Saturday August 17 and making it a successful event for our community.
THE COLOUR RUN | WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 28
The Colour Run is only weeks away! If you haven’t already, it’s time for students to kickstart fundraising for the Fun Run and set their fundraising goal. Students were sent home with a booklet about the Fun Run and how to start fundraising. Additional copies are available at the School Office.
Sign up at https://www.schoolfunrun.com.au/ and get the word out to family and friends.
MPS PICNIC | THURSDAY FEBRUARY 22
With just days away from our annual school picnic, this year the Fundraising & Social Sub-Committee will be selling choc tops and icy poles at the canteen. Prices will range from $2 to $6 per item while stock lasts.
