Achievement Highlights for 2023

Our heartiest congratulations to our Class of 2023 on your outstanding achievements! We, the college staff, are all very proud of you, and look forward to celebrating them together with you at our first whole-school assembly of 2024 on Tuesday 13 February 2024.

It gives us great pleasure to announce that the 2023 Dux of Mullauna College is Alexander Sayle, who attained a very impressive 97.9 ATAR.

Highlights of our students’ achievements include:

  • 15% of the cohort achieved a 90+ ATAR,
  • with a further 20% achieving an ATAR in the 80s (so that’s 35% of our students at 80 or above!),
  • and a further 15% scored in the 70s (so 50% of our students achieved an ATAR above 70).

These wonderful levels of achievement maximise the options for tertiary entry for our students.

A significant number of individual study scores were 40 or above, the highest being:

  • a 48 in Health and Human Development,
  • a 47 and a 46 in English.
  • and a perfect 50 in Persian (VSL)

Studies with scores in the 40s were English, Food Studies, Health & Human Development, Legal Studies and Psychology. Our median study score is 31, above the ‘30’ level all schools aspire to, and our average ATAR was 72.23, well above the state average of just over 69.41.

These results are testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, our staff (both teaching and support) and our parent community – living up to our motto of ‘Success through learning together’!

Well done, Class of 2023!
