THEME for 2024  Let’s Care! Be the difference!  Thank you to everyone who voted!

Let's make caring a priority in our school and strive to be the difference we want to see in the world. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, has the potential to make a significant impact on someone's life. By choosing to care, we can create positive ripples that spread far and wide, fostering a culture of compassion, empathy, and support. Together, let's make a difference and leave a lasting legacy of kindness and love.

We now require a graphic!

The symbol for "Let's Care! Be the difference" could be a heart intertwined with a helping hand. This symbolizes both love and support, highlighting the importance of caring for others and making a positive difference in their lives. The heart represents compassion, empathy, and kindness, while the helping hand signifies assistance, aid, and solidarity. Together, they convey the message of fostering a culture of care and being proactive in creating positive change in the world.

Any parents who are in the graphic design area - we need your help! Please let me know if you can support us in this area! gleone@sktemplestowelr.catholic.edu.au

Resilience First Aid presented by Maria Roberto (Salutegenics)

Last week I participated in a conference with NE principals at Flinders.  We spent time listening to Maria speak about the brain and 6 components required to build resilience in ourselves and others.  Movement is a massive part of building resilience and it reminded me of my primary school days doing aerobics every morning to ‘Stars on 45’!

We explored vision, composure, reasoning, health, tenacity and collaboration.

Each of these areas assist to build Resilience.  Maria spoke in detail about care for self and understanding the functions of each part of the brain.

My hope is that our staff and parents will have the opportunity to participate in some sessions with Maria.  She is a pocket rocket who understands the pressures we face in education today.
