Welcome Back!
This week students have been excitedly catching up with their peers and sharing stories of what they have been up to during their school holidays! It has been fantastic to see them all well rested and ready to dive into Term 3.
Our current focus in Mathematics is measurement, in particular length. Students have been busy learning metric measurements such as millimetres, centimetres, metres and kilometres. We have been exploring which unit of measurement is suitable for different situations and the tools used to measure length accurately. During the week students were given a range of measuring tools to investigate and record the length of various objects in the classroom and around the school grounds.
