We are thrilled to celebrate the courage and talents of our cast and crew from High School Musical Jr.! Their outstanding performance in Week 10 of Term 2 captivated two sold-out crowds, showcasing their incredible voices, acting, courage and resilience. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team, especially Ms Coates, Mrs Cox, Lacey Smit and all the associates who went above and beyond to make this production a resounding success. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you.
Looking Forward to the Term Ahead
Term 3 is brimming with exciting events and extracurricular activities. Our Learning Expo on August 20th is shaping up beautifully. We are particularly excited to have the entire secondary building to ourselves now that the Year 5/6 students have moved to their new, beautiful space.
This term, we are emphasising connection and community in Year 7 with special activities designed to foster camaraderie and personal growth. In August, the boys will enjoy a fishing trip while the girls will embark on a two-night experience, both promising to be memorable events.
New option subjects for Term 3 have kicked off, including Video Production, Melodrama, and Lego League. Additionally, we are bringing back popular options such as Global Cuisines, Wood-Upcycling, Cooking Under $10 and the School Newspaper.
We look forward to a term filled with learning, growth and community spirit. Thank you for your continued support.
Parent Teacher interviews are being held tonight, Wednesday 31st July from 3.30pm-8.30pm, for both Primary and Secondary. Bookings for Parent Teacher Interviews through Parent lounge have now closed, but can be made by calling the school office on 6423 1373.
Along with many other schools and businesses around the nation, we are turning Australia green and gold on Friday 2nd August in support of the Australian Olympic Team. Students are invited to wear green and gold to school on Friday. This can be in the form of an entire green and gold outfit, or just a green and/or gold t-shirt or pants or some green and/or gold accessories worn with their school uniform. Please note, this is not a casual clothes day, students are expected to be in school uniform unless wearing green and gold colours.
This day is about painting the country in our national colours and being proud of Australia’s sporting achievements, it’s about all Australians coming together and celebrating the green and gold.
