Dear Families,
Bienvenue à tous nos Willy Kids. Nous espérons que toutes nos familles ont passé des vacances reposantes
(Welcome back to all our Willy Kids. We hope all our families had a restful break)
Quelle journée ce fut aujourd'hui, alors que nous célébrions le 14 juillet dans le cadre de notre programme de langue française.
(What a day it was today, as we celebrated bastille Day as part of our French language Program)
C'était incroyable de voir tous les étudiants bien habillés et de déguster une gamme de plats français.
(It was amazing seeing all students dressed up and enjoying a range of french food)
Un grand merci à Madame Cri Cri pour l'organisation de cette magnifique journée.
(A big thank you to Madam Cri Cri for organising such a wonderful day.)
Junior Quad Project
Over the school holidays we had our junior quad project completed. This project has added additional seating to the area while creating another space for our students to socialise at recess and lunch. This project which was made possible due to the amazing fundraising efforts of our Seaside Fair team is part of the school’s buildings and grounds master plan.
We can’t wait to see the trees and plants grow and become green when we head into the warmer months.
2025 Prep Enrolments
A reminder that enrolment applications for families are due Friday week on the 26th July.
If you have a child enrolling for foundation in 2025 please ensure your application forms are in by the designated date. Likewise if you know of someone who is looking to enrol their child please let them know and refer them to the school office if they require support.
5/6 Interschool Sports
We have several teams heading off to Divisional finals next week. We would like to wish the Hockey, Soccer and Netball teams all the best. Go Willy!
New Signage
We have some new additions to the school signage wise. At the front office our new honour board has been installed. This board records the names of our annual school captains, and our Grade 6 Academic Award and Dux Award winners. The previous honour board located in the traditional school entrance of the bluestone building is now full after 78 years of recording student achievements.
In addition we have also received our new school entrance sign. This sign located on school admin building greets all who enter the school office from via Electra St.
Warm regards,
Mat
