Prep

Students in Prep have been introduced to the Fundamental Movement Skill of kicking. Through fun and engaging activities, the students have been developing the introductory components of this skill. We are excited to see students kicking skills develop over the next couple of weeks. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grade 1 & 2

Students in Grade 1 and 2 have been developing the Fundamental Movement Skill of punting. Punting is the skill used in AFL and Rugby which involves kicking a moving ball whilst it is still in the air. Through fun and interactive activities, the students have been developing this skill. 

 

    

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grade 3 & 4

 

In Grade 3 & 4, students have been focusing on the sport specific skills for soccer. Through a variety of fun and cooperative activities, students have been developing their soccer skills and techniques. Over the next few weeks, students will focus on skills and techniques such as passing, controlling, dribbling, defending, attacking, goalkeeping and shooting. 

 

 

 

Grade 5 & 6

 

Students in Grade 5 & 6 have been focusing on the sport specific skills for soccer. Through a variety of cooperative and fun activities, students have been developing their soccer skills such as passing, trapping, goal shooting as well as game sense - keeping possession of the ball, moving into open space and passing to open space.

 

 

Hoop Time (Basketball Tournament) 

 

On Tuesday, a number of our ⅚ students participated in Hoop Time at Casey Stadium. For this round robin basketball tournament, these students played against other schools and we are extremely proud of their efforts and sportsmanship. 

 

Well done to all of the students who participated! Congratulations to our Rookies team who were undefeated and our Future Stars team for winning the GRAND FINAL!
