Welcome Back to Term 3! I hope you all enjoyed the break. We can’t believe we’re already halfway through the school year! We have already had one special whole school event on Wednesday at Rochester Secondary College, the DeLa Selle band performance. Some of the songs they played were; The Incredibles Dance Fever, Down Under, Take Me Home Country Roads, Shake It Off, You’ve Got A Friend In Me and Footloose. Some of the other school events we have this term involve; Science Week - Twisted Science Incursion, Shoelace Incursion for F-2, Book Week and Swimming Week. Please keep an eye out for additional information about these events and others that will be shared on our school Facebook page, in the newsletter and/or on Seesaw. Here's to another wonderful term ahead filled with learning, growth, and memorable moments!
Year 3/4
Welcome back to a fabulous, fun-filled term ahead of us. We hope everyone had a wonderful break and enjoyed some relaxing family time. Term 3 promises to keep us on our toes. Miss Williams and Mrs Schwab have planned an action-packed term and will be working together to create memorable learning experiences throughout the term. We are very excited about this term as we head to Swan Hill for school camp on the 29th-30th of August but we also have some special events throughout the term to look forward to: DeLa Selle at the Rochester Secondary College to listen to band performances, Science Week - a Twisted Science Incursion and then we end the term with Swimming. Miss Williams will be away for the first six weeks of Term 3 but has left 3/4 EW in very capable hands. She will return just in time for the school camp and will touch base with families upon her return.
Year 5/6
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to a new term! We hope you all had a restful and enjoyable break. As we begin this exciting journey together, we want to take a moment to share how thrilled we are to work with your wonderful children this term once again.
Our students have already shown dedication and enthusiasm towards their studies, and we are confident that we will continue to see them thrive in all areas of the curriculum. We are working hard to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where each child can reach their full potential.
This term, we have a lot of exciting activities, whole school activity days and projects planned, and we are looking forward to seeing the students making the most of these opportunities. From academic challenges to sports and leadership opportunities, we aim to continue to provide experiences that will help our students grow and develop their skills.
Your support is invaluable to us, and we want to thank you for the encouragement and involvement you have shown so far. Together, we can ensure that this term is not only productive but also enjoyable and fulfilling for our students.
If you have any questions or need any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. Let’s work together to make this term a great success!
Warm regards,
Yvette Lupa and Amy Eade
