News from School Council
Dear DPS families,
Welcome back as we hit the third week of term 3 already.
We have another busy term ahead of us. Please take the time to read Snippets each fortnight and the Compass blasts for all things upcoming. A few mentions:
The Working Bee - again weather dependant. All hands on deck will be very much appreciated.
Father’s Day Stall and Breakfast – such a special morning for all students to have their special person along.
Writers' Festival – Seeing what our children can come up with is truly special and I’m looking forward reading what our students come up with.
Another busy sporting term – Parent helpers are very much needed. Please see Ms Bos if you can help.
New PA President – We are very excited to have Erin Cotsford step into the President role for PA. I know Erin would love for you to come along to the meetings and offer ideas and support on all the exciting events.
The ninja playground is well up and “running” – this has been so good to see the kids enjoying it. Personally, it’s a joy knowing that our fundraising has contributed to this.
Finally, we plan to send out a short Voice of the Community survey this term. We love hearing your feedback and suggestions and I encourage you to complete this, have a chat to your child, we want to hear from their little voices too. Its your feedback that makes our school the unique and vibrant place we all love.
As always, if anyone has anything they’d like to chat to me about, please feel free to grab my details from the office, I’d love to hear from you.
Cheers
Lou Martin
