From the Art Room...

Ms De Stefanis

Term 3

This term is going to be a busy time in the art room as we put all the finishing touches on our art works for the whole school Art Show. Held in the General-Purpose Room, you will see painting, drawing, stitching, weaving, sculpting, construction, collage and mosaic. Each class has reflected on a different art period or artist and the results are wonderful. All the students will have multiple pieces of work on display and we are excited by the opportunity to share our creativity with an audience. This process of making and displaying with audience in mind is crucial to the art making process. There will also be group projects, instillations and activities created by the students.

We look forward to seeing you all at our 2024 Art Show: Art Through the Ages on Wednesday 4th September and Thursday 5th September. Families and the wider community are invited to attend at certain times before or after school and students will also visit with their classes during the day. Details in the poster below.
