Green and Gold Day 

How good are the Olympics!  What a wonderful time to be an Aussie and get behind our 462 athletes who are represented in 33 sports in Paris. To help show our support Donvale decked out in green and gold today and cheered on our athletes from afar.

Taekwondo

Our year 3 - 6 students have showcased their skills in Taekwondo sessions over the last 2 weeks with WeiWu Taekwondo. Just one more week to go.

Taekwondo Kickstarters is a fun and engaging program that introduces children of all abilities to the dynamic world of martial arts. Children learn the fundamental skills of taekwondo - strength, agility and coordination in a safe and fun environment while exploring this curriculum aligned program.

3 - 6 House Athletics Carnival

Next Tuesday 6th August is our year 3 - 6 House Athletics Carnival, held at Box Hill Athletics track, Hagenauer Reserve, Elgar Rd, Box Hill.

Come along and support your child.  Events begin at 9.45am and continue to 2.30pm, with lunch break around 1pm.

Olympic events inPE

Our Year 6's this week had a chance to compete as countries in 10 different events in PE class. There were events like Equestrian, Swimming, Gymnastics, Hockey, Basketball, Tennis and more. The horse riding and swimming were particularly fun to watch.
