MASHED Theatre Presents 'TOXIC' to Year 8s at Greater Shepparton Secondary College

On Wednesday, 26th of June, the Year 8 students at Greater Shepparton Secondary College were treated to a powerful theatre production titled 'TOXIC,' presented by the renowned MASHED Theatre Company. The production, held in the school Theatrette, addressed critical themes such as bullying, peer pressure, mental health, and the growing issue of vaping among teenagers.

 

The talented cast of MASHED Theatre delivered a series of gripping performances that captivated the young audience from start to finish. 'TOXIC' is a contemporary play that explores the lives of several teenagers dealing with the pressures of adolescence in a digitally connected world. Through dramatic scenes and heartfelt monologues, the play delved into the challenges of toxic friendships, self-esteem issues, and the impact of vaping on health and well-being.
