Eureka Division Senior Tennis

Despite the windy conditions at the Ballarat Tennis Centre, the BSC team, consisting of Annie, Paolo, Tom and Harry, performed magnificently to overcome all obstacles put in their way.

Our first match was against Phoenix College. With great determination, combined with a fair amount of skill, the team won 6-36 to 0-11.

The second match against Mount Clear was again played in extremely windy conditions. Our team controlled every set well and once again came out convincing winners 6-36 to 0-18. Whilst the excellent display of skill and the resulting wins were fantastic, the way in which the four students represented the school was the highlight of the day. Showing impeccable court manners and sportsmanship, they definitely looked the part in their school colours.

Well done to our Senior Tennis team, who won the Eureka Division competition and will go on to compete at the GWR division on the 5th of March.

House Swimming Carnival

On Monday the 17th February, we held our annual House Swimming Carnival at the Eureka Swimming Complex. It was a glorious day, with perfect weather for the event and it was great to see students making an effort for their team. Results, including the winning House and Age Group Champions, will be announced at our next General Assembly. Below are some images from the day.
