Dear Parents,

Parent Association Welcome Picnic

A big thankyou to the Parents Association that ran a highly successful Welcome Picnic last Friday afternoon.  Everyone that attended seemed to enjoy themselves immensely and I invite you to view the great photos of the afternoon on the Parent Association page in this edition of the newsletter.  These events help build our community spirit and it is a great way for students and families to make social connections in a fun and safe environment.

Open Day and 2026 Enrolments

We had the second of our Open Days on Wednesday this week.  There was a large group of 14 families represented, nearly all new families to our school.  If you have a child who is due to start school in 2026, I encourage you to submit an application now so we can process all applications and send letters of offer in the coming weeks.

Swimming Lessons

Next week we begin our swimming program at Swim World Glen Waverley.  All classes will have nine sessions of 40 minutes, running each day from Monday March 24 through until Thursday April 3.

Learning to swim and water safety are very important and they form a critical part of our curriculum.  It is quite a logistical exercise to transport students and staff back and forth so class routines will look a little different over the next two weeks.  You can assist by taking careful note of messages sent to you from your child's teacher so students are well prepared for swimming lessons.

Closure Day

Please note Friday March 21 is a school closure day as staff will be undertaking CPR training and attending to collaborative planning for Term 2.
