| Our role: | Guidance counsellors can support young people to overcome social and emotional barriers to educational success. Young people see guidance counsellors for issues like self-harm, anger, low mood, stress, worries, changes in family configurations, bullying, friendship and other factors affecting their wellbeing.

Promote and support student wellbeing, either individually or in groups. Build students wellbeing and resilience through activities such as clubs and individual support.

| Interests/Hobbies: | I have a passion for outdoor activities such as fishing and camping, which allows me to connect with nature and unwind. Additionally, I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes, as it gives me a creative outlet and brings joy to those around me. Playing piano is another hobby I deeply value, as it helps me relax and sharpen my focus while expressing my creativity through music.

I am excited to introduce programs that focus on building resilience, emotional intelligence, and positive strategies to help students manage academic pressures and personal challenges. Through social clubs, intervention groups, and accessible resources, I hope to promote self-care practices and foster a sense of community. My goal is to ensure that every student has the tools and confidence to navigate their secondary school years with a strong sense of faith, wellbeing and a healthy mindset. |
