At Leighland, the safety and wellbeing of our students is a high priority. We want to remind families about the Strong Families Safe Kids Advice and Referral Line. It is a free and confidential service available to provide support and guidance to parents, carers, and community members. If you have concerns about a child's safety or wellbeing, or simply need advice on parenting and family challenges, you can reach them at 1800 000 123 or visit their website for more information.
Additionally, a big thank you to our wonderful volunteers who participated in our face-to-face Volunteer Induction sessions at Ulverstone and Burnie. A friendly reminder that all volunteers are required to complete the Volunteer Induction before assisting at school. For those that were unable to make our face-to-face sessions, you can access the online induction by following these steps.
