Ulverstone High School Student Leaders 

Hello Leighland Community

This year, we have a very excited student leadership team who are passionate to not only lead but also to serve our students. We are keen to be a part of setting a Christian culture for the school and to help everyone feel included. We have already had a team building afternoon where we talked about our many ideas for this year. 

Millie Lithgow and I are more than excited for what we have planned for our students. Students that are on our team are: Dexter Upton and Simeon May as Vice Captains, Sophie Lithgow, Lacey Smit, Reuben Jopson, Joshua Chappell, Joshua Forman, Emmi Bruce and Aneika Reynolds. 

This year is already off to a great start. We are continuing to run Awaken in the drama room every Wednesday at lunch time. Awaken gives students time in school to worship, praise and listen to a devotion which is often lead by visitors outside of school.

Equip is a new group that one of our team members, Emmi Bruce, is running every second week on Tuesday at recess. Equip is run by a group who believes in giving students the opportunity to grow in discipleship and deepen their faith. Equip consists of small groups, games and fellowship. The student leader team are also running weekly games in the MPH, a worship night in the upcoming weeks and many more events for the rest of the year including an Op Shop Formal and Girls and Boys Nights.
