In week 1, some Digital Ambassadors came around to our class and taught us about the Vermont Values - Respect, Integrity & Excellence. They taught us about what they are & what they mean.
Before coming to VSC, I had very little idea about what the Values were, but now I understand them much better. Now I see how they are connected to our learning and community. We had engaging discussions, made posters, and the whole thing was really fun!
Thank you to all the amazing ambassadors for taking the time to teach the new VSC Grade Sevens the values that will guide us through our journey at VSC.

Our students and staff welcomed 12 preservice teachers and Professor Ku from Keimyung University last week. The students were particularly interested in how Vermont Secondary College integrates technology into their curriculum and digital literacy programs that we run. Our Computing faculty members welcomed the visitors with information sessions, observations, a workshop on and around the Victorian DT curriculum, whilst our Digital Ambassadors and some members of our Korean Culture club held a special luncheon, where students were treated to games about Korean history, culture and Kpop while our students discussed their Digital Ambassador workshops and Vermont Values. Our students were all given beautiful gifts and traditional Korean foods to try from the group and Professor Ku. A wonderful time was had by everyone.
Thank you to Computing staff Mr Paragreen, Ms Le, Mr Hew, Mr Clements and Mr Kelham for their valuable expertise and assistance. Thanks also to Library staff, Ms Dunkley, Ms Davey, Ms Stephens, for their invaluable assistance on the day.

Last Tuesday, some representatives of VSC held a special luncheon for students of Keimyung University in Daegu, South Korea. The international visitors were partnered up with students of VSC, who spoke to and sat with them for the entirety of the session. We also had pizza, chicken wings and much more great food from the wonderful Ms Simpson.
