John Monash Science School (JMSS)

Celebrating Our Budding Scientists and Mathematicians!

We are excited to share that our students recently participated in the JMSS Primary School Outreach Program, an exciting initiative designed to inspire young minds in STEM.

This year, our school had one team of four students take part in the Mini Mathematicians program, where they engaged in hands-on problem-solving games, puzzles, and kinetic challenges to develop their mathematical thinking.

Additionally, we had two teams, totalling eight students, participate in the Little Scientists program. These budding scientists explored fascinating topics such as the physics of flight, chemistry experiments with acids and bases, and even examined cells under a microscope!

The students had a fantastic experience learning from JMSS mentors and broadening their understanding of science and mathematics. We are incredibly proud of their enthusiasm and behaviour in these programs!

Thank you to JMSS for providing this wonderful opportunity, and congratulations to our students for representing our school so well!

Arabelle - "I liked doing fun experiments and learning new things with friends."
