Looking for six host families

We’re currently looking for at least six host families to welcome visiting students from our Japanese partner school, Hiroshima Jogakuin High School, during their stay in Term 3 from 29 July to 10 August.

The students are female and aged 15 to 17 and are eager to experience Australian culture and family life.

If you're interested in becoming a host family, or need further information, please contact Ruth Valle from AIIU at ruth@aiiu.com.au or Lucie Dickens. at dickensl@kilvington.vic.edu.au. Thank you!

Important notice: Overseas student access to School resources

Kunal Sharma, Head of ICT

As we approach the term break, we'd like to inform parents about an important security measure related to student access to School systems while travelling overseas.

For cybersecurity reasons, access to School resources from overseas locations is restricted by default. If your child will be travelling internationally during the holidays, or at any time throughout the year,  and needs access to School platforms (such as KCEE, emails, or other digital resources), they must be granted access by the school ICT team.

They must complete this form  prior to travel. This process ensures that legitimate overseas access is enabled while protecting our systems from potential threats.

We kindly request that you complete this form if applicable.

2025 Census Privacy Collection Notice

The Australian Government Department of Education (the department) would like to advise all staff, parents, guardians and students (where applicable) that it will collect certain information about the School, its staff and student body as part of the non-government schools census collection (the census).

SchoolTV Special Report: Celebrating NAIDOC Week

As the end of the school term looms, so do the impending celebrations for NAIDOC Week. This is an important time to recognise and celebrate indigenous history and culture.

NAIDOC celebrations will occur during the school holidays between 6 to 13 July. This week-long event helps build positive relationships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people, enabling a deeper understanding of our differences and similarities.
