Care and Connection

Separation Anxiety

As we enter another unpredictable school year, parents everywhere are waiting to see how their children will fare at school drop-off. For some children starting school or returning to school may be easy, but for others, not so much.

The following information is an excellent resource explaining signs and symptoms, causes, prevention and treatment, and more.

Separation Anxiety In Children

Can You Help?

We are truly blessed to have wonderful people share their time and love with others here at Good Shepherd. It is a key factor that helps to make this place feel like home.

Over the last couple of years, one of our school mums has been the smiling face serving tea and coffee before and after our Wednesday Worship. We are so thankful for her kindness and service. As her circumstances have now changed, I would love to hear from others who might be able to serve in this manner.

If this is you, please come and have a chat (over a coffee perhaps) or email me here. Love to hear from you soon!

Coffee and Connect

Happy New Year everyone!

I hope that you were able to enjoy a different pace of life away from school routine. I’m sure you have a story or two to share.

Our regular Friday morning Coffee and Connect gatherings recommence this Friday. After you have dropped your children off for the day, you are most welcome to join us in the church café (just come through the courtyard). This is a great opportunity to meet people in our community and make new friends.

We meet each Friday during term time from 8:30am until 10 am.

Join us for a free coffee/tea. Stay for 10 minutes or until 10am!

We are in this together... Families are all experiencing changes that a new year brings (along with the range of emotions that come with it). It can be comforting and encouraging to hear each other’s stories. Toddlers are welcome! (We have a small playground. You just need to keep an eye on your little one(s) for safety reasons.)

I look forward to seeing you soon!

Blessings,

Georgie
