Clinics and Events

The Equestrian Centre will host a clinic with Lucy Williams on Saturday, 15, and Sunday, February 16.

Lucy has 25 Years of Equestrian Coaching experience. Lucy also holds the IGEQ Level 3 Equestrian Coach's Passport and is an accredited “Ride With Your Mind” coach. Lucy assists riders in realising the influence of their position on their horse’s way of going.

Lucy believes keeping an open mind is extremely important in the continual development of our abilities. Down to earth, fun and encouraging, Lucy likes to create an environment that brings out the best in all her clients. I would highly recommend a lesson with Lucy!

Results - Southwest Interschool Championships

In early January, four College students competed at the Southwest Interschool Championships and qualified for the Victoria Interschool State Championships that will be held in April.

A huge congratulations to:

Georgia Adams – Senior Preliminary Dressage Champion and 5th in the 75cm Jumping Championship
Charlie Hiscock – Secondary 110cm Jumping Champion
Finley Hiscock – Secondary 100cm Reserve Jumping Champion
Rachel Aitken – Senior 75cm and 60cm Jumping

State Interschool Championship

The Victorian Interschool State Championships - 9-13 April at Boneo Park.

Entries open on 1 February at 9:00am and close on 28 February.

• Entries: Open from 9:00am

• Venue Facilities: Open from 10:00am

Summer Competitions

Congratulations to all our riders who competed over the summer holidays, I was thrilled to see Jennifer Haydon, Finley Hiscock, Charlie Hiscock, Rachel Aitken, Alison Foster and Georgia Adams out and about at competitions, as always, they rode very well with continued success.

Term One Lessons

If you would like lessons at the Equestrian Centre in Term one and haven’t yet spoken to me, please get in touch as soon as possible so we can arrange these for you.

New Helmet Regulations

Please be aware that from March 1st 2025 all riders who ride at the Equestrian Centre must use an approved and tagged helmet as per EA regulations. Please see more information Current approved safety standards for helmets | Equestrian Australia. If you need your helmet tagged (with a yellow sticker) please let me know and I will arrange a time for it to be done.
